Overseas Shipping

If your move takes you further afield, whether you need to ship a couple of boxes, a part container or a full load, we can tailor a quote to meet your specific requirements.

Ideally, you need to contact us 2-3 months before your removal to organise a home visit survey and quotation. Our Move Co-ordinator will discuss with you what you can and cannot ship depending on your destination, quarantine and customs paperwork and formalities (which we will organise for you), shipping options and timeframes – full or part container, airfreight, LCL crate, what will happen at your destination and storage and insurance option.

All effects destined for deep sea shipment will need to be carefully export packed. Our crews undergo rigourous and continual training on the best and latest packing techniques and we always use top quality materials. Our carpenter will be on hand to make special crates for delicate items – e.g. chandeliers, valuable paintings and display cases, etc.

It would normally take our crew about 2 days to pack the contents of an average 3 bedroomed house for deep sea shipment. Depending on the destination, shipping takes between 3-4 weeks for East Coast USA, 9-10 weeks for Australia/New Zealand and 5-6 weeks for South Africa.

We offer safe, secure storage both in the UK and at your destination and full insurance services to meet your requirements.
